You know, with Tyler Perry's name attached yet again to another project, I was skeptical. The do it all auteur has a notorious reputation of cutting corners and cheaply crafting wigs and visible details. Now some of that is still here, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I rolled my eyes during the first episode. But as the episodes continued, I actually enjoyed it. This series is one of his better works. Nothing award winning but a nice improvement. I recommend checking it out.
