Overall a good effort but the writing lets the show down quite a bit - when you have to use stupidity as a plot device to move the story forward you know you're in trouble. Similarly with characters breaking rules or commands constantly as if there are somehow never consequences of their actions. The acting by all the characters is quite good, and it was really good to see Ewan McGregor back in the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi. Unfortunately it has reinforced that the only person working on Star Wars IP who actually knows what they are doing is Jon Favreau. Disney is still mis-handling the franchise, although I hope they start to learn from their mistakes.
