I initially thought it was a little slow and cliché. However, I did not expect the story to go that way. We get to have some insight and awareness on a topic that not many people talk about. I would recommend this book. Also, I’m happy it ended that way.

Before I read this book, I had no idea what it was going to be about. I just liked the cover and knew it was going to be about someone glamorous who married a lot of men. I listened to this on audible and highly recommend it. They do a great job at narrating the story. I was truly compelled by Evelyn’s life and felt the glamour was very descriptive. There were a few times when I was shocked and couldn’t believe what happened. There were also times when I laughed because I couldn’t believe what happened. There may be some indifferences with this book, which I can see why because not everyone is on the same page. But I am happy I read this book.
