Aleta Clayton

The premise was so promising although not original. There had been a 1950s movie starring Clifton Webb or David Niven about using a drowned corps to mislead the Germans about landing in Sicily or Greece. But the screenplay and direction make this a yawner. I happen to use captions but captioning could not keep up with all the dialogue, so excessive. There is simply no focus to make it move along. And the sidetracks into personal lives of agents takes suspense away from what should be the focus: would this use of a dead sailor fool Germany into diverting its military force from Sicily to Greece.
