I’m hooked. I’m up to episode 90 series 1. Engin & Tuba are a match made in heaven and play their roles so convincingly. Bit too much of the long and lingering looking into each other’s eyes but so well done you could feel the emotion. Also, far too much crying from the three sisters, I should think they’d all be seriously dehydrated! I think the acting is superb throughout and all actors play their roles brilliantly. Great story but, at episode 90 I’m beginning to feel a tad frustrated at the number of police etc in Istanbul who are corrupt and how Huseyin always seems to be present or listening at the door when Omer, Pelin & Arda are planning their next moves, so he’s able to phone through a warning to the bad guys. I’m concerned at what’s going to happen to Omer & Elif’s relationship but no doubt the scheming brother and the aunt will manage somehow to tear them apart🙄 They’d better get their relationship back on track in series 2 or i shall feel I’ve wasted a third of my life watching this series for no reason!! I’ll definitely review again when I finish series 2.
