If I hadn’t read the book first, I may have liked it a little but because I read the book, I was severely disappointed by the show. They may have followed 10% of the book and the rest was fluff, extra stuff that never happened in the book. I like Jason Bateman but I don’t believe he did the book justice and the book was amazing. I mean, take some characters out due to the book being long but don’t make up characters and change the story line. I don’t get why people change a movie from the book in such extreme ways….. they could have def made a great show following the book. Just sayin
