Played the first one right before starting this one. Part 2 takes it to the next level.

I've played about 25 hours into the game and so far am enjoying it. Very good cinematics that help tell the backstory. I don't get where people are hating on it. I bought Fallout 76 when it came out and it was a pile of garbage. Days Gone is at least twice as good. Sure I had an issue when I first installed it, but that was easily fixed with a patch. I recommend buying it. It's a solid 8 to 9 game to me.
