Really enjoyed the movie. Not familiar with the "lore" and just watched the movie for what it is. The CGI was a bit cartoonish. The movie progressed with the assumption that the viewer has a base knowledge of the story. Figuring out good vs. bad guys like most movies was a bit difficult and occupying at first. Once you get past this and realize that good and bad are based on your point of view, the movie gets very interesting. You begin to delve into the characters and each races storyline. Not an Oscar winning movie yet I can see a movie like this as part of a series to span years. It appears as though there is a lot to say about Warcraft that you wont get all in one setting. This movie tried to tell a lot of that story which likely hurt it with the critics. All in all, i really enjoyed it. I guess I didn't go into this with a bunch of expectations other than to be entertained. It did that and left me wanting a sequel. As it was profitable, I am hopeful they do just that.
