I find it extraordinarily absurd that anyone would give someone's work a one star rating if they hadn't bothered to take the time to review it. Shame on all of you who did this. If anyone who watched the film didn't like it, that is their opinion and they are entitled to it. However, to give anything a review and a rating, it must be experienced by the reviewer. This film is someones' work, and someones' vision. They spent part of their life to make it and for it to be available for consumption. Spit it out, or not, but don't throw the baby out with the bathwater simply because of what someone else said or wrote about it. That is unreasonable, lazy, and unjust. I enjoyed this movie, and I recommend it to anyone who is willing to give it a fair chance. I found it to be a very fitting and compelling sequel to its predecessor, especially for those who have any sort of spiritual insight. The symbology and themes of this tale were alluring to the point of being oddly resonant with reality, and I strongly identified with many of its elements. I felt like it also filled in some of the blanks that the original touched upon, but didn't flesh out. Take this opinion with a grain of salt, Mylanta, a xanax, and/or a full frontal lobotomy, but by God, I give it 5 stars. EWM
