I don’t really post bad reviews but…This show is unspeakably bad. Not canon/lore accurate. It rewrites various fundamental original star wars elements. Stuff that was in the original movies (The Force origins and characteristics, the woman society that can create humans with no father, making Anakin's miraculous conception moot, how the lead character also got brought to the jedi temple at an older age—making Anakin’s exception no longer an exception, i could go on) those elements made this show something else entirely. It’s very disappointing. They should make a new franchise if they hate and want to change SW so much. Even if that wasn’t an issue, the writing and story is poor. Half of the actors are decent, the others cringey (and i mean both in and out of the show). Fight scenes, costumes, and cinematography are the best parts of the show but that’s a low achieving bar. With all that budget you’d think they’d create something magical. I honestly think the writers/creators don't care about their fans at this point. Like, come’on. They’re purposefully perverting the franchise and letting it rot. I can’t wait till some hero takes over the Star Wars franchise to say all this new-wave disney SW stuff is not canon. The Acolyte will be at the top of that proposed list, I promise you that.
