Just NO!!! I eagerly await the publication of each new Louise Penny novel and have read all of them multiple times. This series bears so little resemblance to Ms. Penny’s books that it’s laughable. The characters are either flat and uninteresting or overacted caricatures (and bear no physical resemblance to what is described so clearly in the novels.) The plots aren’t even close to Ms. Penny’s beautifully crafted stories and Three Pines is nothing like the lovely place we’ve all come to know and love. Did anyone connected with this production even give Ms. Penny’s novels more than a passing glance? If i could give it zero stars, I would. Very, very disappointed.
