One of the funniest things I’ve seen this year! Tom Davis as Mick (?) had me rolling w that crazy deep voice! I had no clue who he was ,( I’m American) but as soon as he showed up w his stupid track jacket and baggy synthetic pants , I was like “ yeah I’ll be watching this straight thru ! “ I don’t understand how he does that weird voice but it was half the fun to me ! I could listen to him chatter about nothing “ I don’t like secrets , mate!” For hours. Seriously , this is a slapstick childish type humor but I lived the 80’s vibe. I really liked the nervous brother and the wimp of a husband that is in tears halfway through ! These were the best dumb criminals I’ve seen since “ Mastermind” ( about an armed truck robbery ) Loved this!

Just finished the audible version and it was hard to listen to midway , but I stuck it out. I love the C Strike books and Rowling is of course a phenomenal writer so I pushed through! It may be bc if the audible version was extremely hard to keep up w paperwhite , etc all the online characters! The constant “…replying to @hearty…,…” almost made me stop ! It annoyed me so much to have to hear the entire heading on the Twitter replies . BUT this became one of my fav JK books because it exposed how dangerous social media is , how children are groomed online etc ! I’m not a “SJW” ( lol) but a 60 year old American woman so I’m not super liberal at all . Still I saw daily how very scary these aggressive crazy ppl can join a normal game a prey on our young people esp vulnerable kids that have a hard time socializing. I normally just want a mystery to entertain . I listen to audible 80 % of the time bc I have 4 dogs that I’m constantly walking etc . I’d advise abyone to not do audible on this particular book . Read it and keep going even if it’s a bit tedious . I do agree w another reviewer about how they visit a family early and a peripheral character is finally the “baddie “ . Don’t want to spoil it but I guessed this early on . I was not convinced I was right tho. I still get so annoyed w how stupidly “brave” Robin is! She is continually putting herself in danger & I was glad in this one she actually endangered someone else! When she risked publicity by “ rescuing a guy midway thru I was yelling at her in my car ! Idiot ! Rotfl So not to ruin it but def worth a read!
