While I thought the series was dynamic and engaging, I felt that this ending was a bit of a letdown. Elizabeth ends up with kind of "normal" guy, just like Sookie Stackhouse ended up with Sam (in the True Blood books, anyway.) A bit rushed, a bit cookiecutter, a lot disappointing. Elizabeth has been too interesting and even too nuanced (for a gunnie) to end this way. Maybe Ms Harris' redemption on this is "Just kidding! Here's book #7!"
