I love it. It is well written, compelling interconnected stories, great characters and very, very sweet

A most unusual story , for me it is less about a girl in the mostly male dominant chess world of the sixties and more about the tension in Beth, struggling between strict discipline and succumbing to her wilder nature, stunted by her obvious genius. Beautiful, lush production

It was a cinematically beautiful film, rich in color. As always, his characters have a subtle depth and real life quality. The main character, Salvador is beautifully acted both as a young child and asan aging man. Antonio Banderas was wonderful.
