My wife and I went to see the movie last night and being in our late sixties we knew the music very well. This film is much more a celebration of the music than an in your face exposure of every detail of Freddy's private life. If you're looking to learn every dirty little secret of the man's life, then read a book! It's a 2 hour movie, not an HBO series. The band members I think wanted to tell a part of his and their story to a broader audience. I know of all the problems in making the film helped make the time lines and exact details incorrect at times but overall this is more about a body of work, not a detailed biography. If you know their music or aren't that familiar with it, this is a wonderful 2 hour primer. Younger people can see this and experience a small dose of the joy of creating art and the minefields that life will have for them. This is certainly more meaningful than another Avengers or Star Wars movie.
