My wife and I love watching 60 Minutes, making it a 'be sure' after football or whatever. but... I've often wondered why subtitles are delayed a few seconds AFTER the statements are made. I understand 'live' shows, it's acceptable. But for those of us it doesn't 'fit' when delayed: we're a bit of hard of hearing and depending on subtitles. I don't believe 60 Minutes is 'live' (possibly parts but not all). Other programs we watch on cable - including PBS - are always subtitled as words are spoken... Please, catch up the subtitles !
