I was a little disappointed in this show. I've waited for it for a long time and I was expecting more. There were three characters that she got right, the character of Penelope, the Duke, and the voice of lady whistle down , those met my expectations. I was disappointed in the lead female character, I was expecting someone more vibrant, snappy and beautiful. I was disappointed in the costume, they looked muted and boring without shape for the women. I was glad to see, the diversity of the characters. I was disappointed in the dialogue itself or the delivery of the dialogue I was expecting a faster crisper snappy pace. The dialogue that's given was kind of lackluster. I'm hoping it gets better. I was disappointed that they're selling sex and not the great book that is really is. Also was it against the law for women to have breast during that time why is everybody flat-chested I'm just saying
