Joey Fragile

A masterpiece of film making, manages to cut across cultural boundaries and also religious dogmas, and impress upon the mind that exercising higher love is not always serene and little cherubs sitting on clouds playing harps, but is instead made up of seeing and experiencing the lowest and base parts of human nature in one another, and still managing to "be kind", and be honest even when the truth seems to disrupt everything in our lives.

Surprisingly underrated movie. There are some very effective blends of large scale epic story lines along with some intimately personal character arcs and developments which carry over to some insightful parallels with real world scenarios. Some reviewers are either spoiled or are giving the movie the equivalent of a "skim read" as it is very easy to form connections with the four main personalities and empathise with their development especially if watching the film for a third or fourth time to start really noticing the finer points that the actors/actresses have worked so hard to portray. The special effects are really top quality, and are very believable, from the way the bubble ship" goes from primary to orbital thrust when travelling up to the "Tet", to the way Victoria operates what is essentially a huge touch screen display panel when monitoring Tech49.
