Penumbra Hey

This movie literally begins with a line that promotes "Girl Power". "I'm woman and need no man". As the title suggests this movie is targeted one demographic...or to be more specific it targets one gender/sex/way of life. Makes all the characters who have a "y chromosome" weak and untrustworthy. I will give credit where credit is due, the main actress is incredible with this script and character. The dragon is definitely the second lead, and saves the movie from a total flop. I do like some of the other messages this movie puts out. Power comes at a price, Peace comes at a price, Truth sets you free, Kingdoms are built with the blood of the innocent, Politics is corrupt.

I would've given it 5 stars but there was still some light jokes about race/culture. I'm all for those kind've jokes but this society has become so sensitive and when I see people get canceled or disciplined for it, it proves the hypocrisy. Aside from that Woody Harrelson has still got it, he can carry a movie on his own. It was pretty cool to see Woody back on the court. It's a classic movie about a jerk that is sentenced to community service by coaching a team of mentally challenged athletes. By the end of the movie he is a changed man. The journey is very warming and relatable.

Thought about giving this a "3 Star" rating but to be honest in good conscience I just couldn't do it. This movie was barely sub-par. The fighting was the only exciting thing about the movie and even that was predictable. SNAKE EYES deserves a better origin story movie. The minor supporting characters were more fun.

Jared Leto is a great addition to the MCU and did the best he could with MORBIUS. The good news is there is no where to go but up from here. I hope they get a Sequel going immediately. We still do not know which SPIDER-VERSE we are in right now. Aside from that the effects were awesome. The graphics were on point. To me this was better than IRONMAN 2 and THOR 2...only. I seriously believe Jared Leto can do this. This movie was underwhelming.

Is it me or is Disney actually trying to remind us that no matter what, if we are different from one another. If our cultures do not mesh entirely. One will over take the other? Aside from that if you look beyond the hidden messages, and just appreciate that Fury is a beaten man. He took a huge loss but he is not out. "When I'm out, I'm still in.". This is a good show. It should get a 2nd Season.

Michael Keaton is BACK in the Cape and Cowl!! I watched this movie for him alone. I was very uncomfortable paying for this movie due to E.Miller. He is the worst Barry Allen ever. Sasha Calle was better than him, and arguably stole the LIGHTNING and THUNDER from E.Miller. Sasha Calle puts on a grittier and violent Supergirl but she also shows family loyalty, and compassion for others. I hope they recast E.Miller. This FLASH does not beat out "The Flash" TV series. The visual effects and supporting cast really lifted this movie up. Which is why I am giving a 4 Star rating instead of 2 Star.

Ever since Mel Gibson's "BRAVEHEART". I have been fascinated by Scotland and it's history. This movie tells a great tale about what it was like between W. Wallace's execution and the final battle that WON Scotland it's Independence from England. Chris Pine and Florence Pugh give an amazing performance. I want a huge fan of Chris but this movie has reignited my support for him. As for Florence I have always been a fan of hers since The "Black Widow" movie. With each movie I watch of hers just keeps adding to her greatness.

This was a great movie that deserves and demands a sequel!! Clean, wholesome fun and comedy. Yes there was some straight and gay jokes. Still good times for the family at home. There was also a good nod to indigenous culture which made the movie even better.
