Director Jon M. Chu infuses the film with a sense of wonder, blending grand, sweeping set pieces with intimate moments of character development. The special effects and cinematography are visually stunning, capturing the fantastical elements of Oz while maintaining a grounded emotional core. The iconic scenes, like the "Defying Gravity" number, are executed with such care and creativity, making them even more awe-inspiring on the big screen. Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda are simply stunning in their roles. Erivo's portrayal of the misunderstood, strong-willed Elphaba is nothing short of powerful, with her soaring vocals and emotional depth. Grande brings her signature charm and warmth to Glinda, making her both endearing and relatable. The chemistry between the two leads is electric, and their performances take the beloved friendship to new emotional heights. The film also makes subtle but effective updates to the story, deepening the themes of friendship, acceptance, and standing up for what you believe in. It feels timeless yet current, which will resonate with both long-time fans and newcomers alike.

Short n' Sweet proves that Sabrina Carpenter is here to stay, and I'm here for it. The witty lyrics, humor, vulnerability, and honesty are everything that I loved about the album. Some of my favorite tracks were "Lie to Me," "Bed Chem "Don't Smile," and "Good Graces," which demonstrate what makes Short n Sweet an almost perfect summer album. My criticism is that I think the songs needed to be fleshed out a bit more, but like the album title, the album was indeed short and sweet.

I wasn't impressed by the "Tortured Poets Department" album. I tried to like it, but songs like "Fortnight" and "I Can Do It with a Broken Heart" were catchy. However, they didn't make me feel the same as her previous work before the hit album "Midnights," such as "Folklore," "Red," "1989," "Speak Now," and "Fearless." TTPD may not be for everyone, and that's okay. I loved the track "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived"; it's a personal favorite.

Halle is everything that Ariel should be and I love how well developed the relationship between Eric and Ariel, In the visuals, Melissa Mccarthy was not playing as Ursula, Jessica Alexander was a perfect Vanessa. the only thing that I didn't like was the costuming it fell extremely flat when it came to Eric's and Ariel's clothing, Awakinfa's "scuttlebutt" was funny but unnecessary. I was holding back tears when Halle performed Part of your world. This might be one of Disney's best live actions
