The first episode is better than the Game of Thrones pilot. The pacing is done very well. So much happened in the first episode but it still didn't feel rushed. It also sets up the characters for insane arcs and all the characters feel natural and unique. I had my doubts because the theme of sexism is a bit overexplored in basically every movie these days. But HOTD actually made it not dry. Please go watch it.
