Its Bad Its Wrong Its Bad and wrong It's badong I feel like I'm watching an amateur live action school project put together by the rich kids dad, the only thing halo about it is more or less master chief's costume and the occasional covenent appearance For some reason it does the same thing every company that has ever made a bad film adaptation do and completely butcher the lore and change some of the most iconic things because for some reason that's what they think people want Lots of the scenes are flat, especially Dr Halsey, she sounds as exciting as monotone marching band and lacks any emotion to speak and feels like she just blurts out her lines Every episode I have been hoping to see some redeeming value because it's halo for crying out loud, but instead of action packed fight scenes it's dialogue and flashbacks and completely out of character characters and "mystery" Captain keys and Miranda aren't in this series, some guy called keys who has a daughter called Miranda instead replace them, they aren't even close in comparison to the games, the characters are completely different The main character Quan is just a distraction, flavourless filler with a Mary sue complex, it's really annoying to sit through her scenes but then it cuts back to chief and he takes off his helmet for the 16th time this episode, I want to say the action scenes are good, but we've only had a few so far, we've had mostly talking, flashbacks, realizations, gun greasing hair, DIY spinal upgrades and lore butchering twists The show never seems to take off from anything The 5/5 stars have either never seen a movie before, bots, paid or utterly delusional The YouTube series arby and the chief I think is better check that out

WHY CAN'T PEOPLE WHO MAKE SERIES FROM A BOOK, NOT DO THE SIMPLE THING OF NOT CUTTING ALL THE IMPORTANT BITS OUT

Deviated from what I thought was x-men and chose a horror/mystery/drama/ path with more *omg why would you go investigate that sound on your own in the middle of a haunted woods* kind of moments than a 1960's its basically a good name, good actor's/resses and a script/new experiment Don't get me wrong I enjoyed it it's worth a watch, just don't expect a traditional x-men In all honesty you barely saw anyone's powers and when you did it was like watching a footballer trying to catch a rugby ball
