Let me say that while this movie is more entertaining than I thought it would be, it is certainly not good. Let's start with the good parts. The acting is surprisingly decent, especially and is probably the best thing in the movie. The effects are all practical and are also quite good considering the budget. The story, while not entirely original, has some original aspects and is done in quite an interesting way. Now for the bad parts. The lighting, audio, and camera quality is awful. There was some glare and it was very dark and dusty in many rooms. I could hardly make out any of the conversations, which may be partly because of the British accent, but I think it is mostly due to bad audio. The dialogue, while not particularly bad, is quite excessive and I think far too much of the movie is spent talking about random stuff rather than building suspense. Also, I think that serial killer behavior in this is unsurprisingly inaccurately represented. Why would losing a girlfriend turn someone into a killer? Even more so, why would they bite someone's throat out? That's something for mental illnesses, not traumatic experiences. I think the first kill is also pretty bad. It was quite confusing when they just died, and was only explained later in the film when the second kill happened. I think they were trying to intrigue us, but it did quite the opposite. Also, I have mixed feelings about the whole demon vision thing. I think that it's a break from the typical slasher film, but then why wouldn't the demon just go around killing any serial killer? How did it get summoned? Why did it have to set up the whole mist thing when it could have just killed them? Also, I think the dialogue in the beginning is bad. Asking a serial killer to apologize? Seriously? Also, I hate it when they ask for motives. You don't need a motive to convict someone, and it's a serial killer-why do you think they did it? You think they're going to answer that question? Overall, KillerKiller is a mildly entertaining slasher film with too much dialogue, bad production values, and too many errors. 4/10.

If you watch this, I recommend not reading any reviews, as they will heighten your expectations only for them to be crushed. Let's start with the good things. It was hard to hear what they were saying in some scenes, I had trouble seeing the background throughout most of the movie, and any scene that showed the sun was completely blocked out by glare. The vampire costumes were pretty pathetic, and the fangs weren't even the same color as the rest of the teeth. There was also an extremely bad CGI fire. Now for the worst part: the plot. The god-awful plot. This is the dullest, most boring, most confusing vampire film I have ever seen. There were many pointless scenes, and the plot was thrown together into a confusing mess. It was hard to comprehend what was going on for the most part. The pacing was pretty bad, and it felt like the movie started halfway through. The movie is also extremely dull, especially because the confusing plot eventually makes you give up trying to figure it out. It also lacked action or gore, which doesn't always make a good movie, but would have been the only thing to save this one from boredom. Also, the DVD cover is absolutely terrible. Overall, this is a confusing, dull, boring vampire film with horrible production values and is accurately represented by its cover. 4/10.

This movie, while more entertaining than I thought it was going to be, is quite strange and even a bit hard to understand. Let's start off with the good parts. The acting was pretty good, and all of the main characters were played by well-known actors. The script and dialogue, while a little too smooth, was also decent. The special effects were convincing, and the audio and lighting was all good. Basically, the quality of the film is quite good overall. I also liked parts of the story because most of the time wasn't spent just shooting bad guys, it was spent focusing on one man trying to expose an illegal ring, and still manages to entertain for an action/thriller. I also liked the ending, which was something of a twist. Now for the bad parts. The plot is rather simple, though is a bit misleading. I thought that the story was quite hard to understand, which may just be me, but I thought there were a lot of weird scenes and words which I didn't understand, and it kind of took away from the enjoyment of the movie. Overall, The Harvest is a weird but mildly enjoyable action/thriller with an amusing twist ending. 6/10.

This was another one of those films in one of those Echo Bridge multi-packs, which doesn't have a good reputation as being a film distributor. I knew nothing about this film, and it seemed like a cool ghostly-type film, and I could not have been more wrong. First of all, the plot doesn't describe this film accurately. It's a very low-budget independent film about four people that wander off into haunted land and take shelter in a house and then ghosts show up and creepy stuff happens. There's really no point for this obscure, direct-to-video film to exist and it didn't bring anything new to the genre, which is maybe why it was forgotten so quickly. In fact, it reminded me a lot of the film "The Culling", which was another horrendous micro-budget film with the same plot. That one might have been even worse, but this one was bad enough. The cinematography was poorly and amateurishly done, and sometimes the shaky camera was distracting. The actors did a poor job as well, as the acting was mediocre at its finest, but it was usually less than that. Nothing in this film makes sense, and its short duration of 74 minutes made this film feel rushed and even more unnecessary. Everything seems to happen all at once and there are no big plot points or suspense to anything in this film. The ghosts are not linked to the opening scene of this film, which adds unnecessary time to it, and it has the world's longest flashback, which was basically the film. It tried to wow you with a poorly done "twist" ending, but it doesn't make sense and doesn't give anything new to the genre or make you think. In fact, when this film's over, you yawn and demand your hour and 14 minutes back. This film was not worth my time, and it isn't worth yours, either. Final rating- 3/10. Thank you for reading.

The audio is very loud, and can be heard clearly, which was good because I didn't have to turn the TV all the way up to hear the conversations like I do in most other low-budget slashers. The cinematography was also decent. The practical effects, when used, were convincing. The movie is bad but is supposed to be bad, and it is funny in some scenes because of how ridiculous the humor is in the movie. Now for the bad things. The lighting was poor, and some of the scenes were too dark to see the person's face and the sunshine also caused glare. While the cinematography was good, the camera quality itself was bad and looked quite grainy. There were some very bad CGI kills, which in some scenes added to the comedy, though in others in just ruined the kill. The storyline isn't too bad, though I was disappointed because it actually had nothing to do with Mother's Day. Overall, it's a very low-budget slasher with insanely crude humor and entertaining kills, but in actually quality, doesn't really stand out. Just don't expect a movie about Mother's Day. 4/10.

Bought in a sci-fi 4-pack, which are usually garbage, this one was actually above average considering the other movies it was released with. Let's start off with the good. The cinematography, lighting, and audio was good as well. The movie is also quite entertaining and fast-moving. Now for the bad. The plot, while there, was rather weak and unoriginal, and consisted of almost nothing except car chases and cliched action scenes. The special effects were both bad and good, as many good stunts and explosions were done, but there is a mix of bad CGI, especially when the spaceships and aliens are shown. Overall, The Sender is a fast-moving, entertaining thriller with a weak plot and cliched action sequences. 5/10.

Looking through the reviews of this, you will hear bad things. Maybe that's because people complain about "unoriginality" and "wannabe actors" too much. They also complained about the lack of budget, which is understandable, but that doesn't make it a bad film. The plot is simple, a reporter returns to her hometown for a vacation, and people start getting brutally murdered by some sort of beast, which turns out to be a werewolf. This film isn't "original", which is fine, but it is different than most werewolf films. I can't quite pin it, but something about this film makes it stand out. No, it's not special or amazing, but it's not bad and is quite enjoyable. The characters are very likable and each have different personalities, which I liked. The lack of budget in this film does show, considering the lack of gore and on-screen kills, but the practical effects and werewolf look great; however, I'd recommend that gorehounds stay away. The way they kill the werewolf is creative and untraditional, which I also liked. However, a bad thing I would say is that I wish there were more on-screen kills. As I said before, the budget constraints show, and I wish it did have a bit more gore and on-screen kills. I'm not a gorehound myself, but I do like gory creature-features. The werewolf is different too, and it looks more like a giant gray wolf/Husky mix, and you can tell it's a guy in a suit, but the practical werewolf looks great anyway. I'd take a guy in a suit over a CG werewolf any day. Again, if you're a gorehound, I don't recommend it, but to anyone else, I would. First off, this movie wasn't terrible. It's definitely not for everyone, but certainly not as bad as many reviews claim it to be. For some reason, I still go ahead and buy and watch any horror movie even if everyone says it's garbage. From this, I wasn't expecting much from the reviews and the fact that Echo Bridge owns the rights to it, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this film. It's low-budget so it's not for everyone, but that doesn't stop it from not being a fun, decent film. It's not great or anything, but not bad. I guess it got so many low ratings because people have never seen a fun, low-budget film before. However, one problem that I do have with this film is that it takes itself very seriously, which kind of downs the fun. It's not a super crazy, SyFy channel-like movie that is meant to be watched by a group of friends drinking beer. While it is still enjoyable and low-budget, it takes itself seriously and the pacing is serious and it kind of takes you out of it. Not to say it still isn't a kind of decent film, though. Some actors were much better than others, and the unbalanced performances are kind of distracting. However, they were likable and well-developed. While shot-on-video, the cinematography was decent, even if there were a few annoying close-ups. One thing that I also found funny was that you could tell the scenes that showed the sharks swimming through the water or the outside of the submarine were ripped from a different source of footage by their old and grainy look, and it was unintentionally hilarious. The film was also decently lit. Again, the plot was simple and light, but the film took it a little too seriously, and the pacing got a little too slow and got slightly tedious in some points, although pretty rarely. Not saying it was a bad plot, or that the film didn't use the potential, they just went in the wrong direction with it. Growling sharks and alien space crystals, come on. Surprisingly, there wasn't that much cheap CGI. There was in a couple scenes when it showed hundreds of sharks at once, but most of the sharks were either ripped footage or practical. The sharks aren't the only threat either, as there are people from national security trying to chase them down and shooting them and people turning psychotic and murdering everyone, which I liked since it had a branching story. Overall, a not bad, enjoyable little shark film that takes itself a bit too seriously. Final rating- 5/10. Thank you for reading.

Let me start off by saying that this movie, at least in my opinion, isn't nearly as bad as most people say it is. Sure, it isn't great, but if you're into found footage films, why not give it a watch. Let's start off with the good things about this film. The acting really isn't that bad. It's not great in some moments, but for the most part it is decent enough to keep the movie entertaining. I also liked the story. It was an interesting and entertaining concept. I thought the movie was filmed well, and was fairly realistic. Now for the bad. The plot really could have been written better, and it didn't really go anywhere. I thought it wasn't tense enough, and was fairly predictable, which is a shame considering the originality of the concept. There were a couple moments of bad CGI, which is also a shame for a found footage movie. The characters didn't really have any redeeming qualities, and the story didn't entirely make sense. What did their diet have to do with it? Why were those cameras showing the parallel universe? How did the alternate Annie find out so fast? Why did she take it out on them? Overall, Occupants is a fairly original found footage film with convincing acting and cinematography, but lacks tension and has a couple too many plot holes. But, if you're into found footage films, it may be worth a watch. 5/10.

The DVD makes it look like complete garbage, and after looking at the ratings of this film, I went in with pretty low expectations; however, I was pleasantly surprised. The film is entertaining and actually kind of funny. Not super funny, but it keeps you entertained and even made me laugh in a couple scenes. Now for the bad parts. The story, while funny, relied largely on cliches to get the job done, and really didn't have a lot of effort put into it. I was surprised at how they managed to make most of the cliches funny, but I think it could have benefited a bit more from a better written plot. The camera quality and lighting was rather poor, and I think it could have been better if they used a better camera; however, the audio quality was good. Overall, it's an entertaining vampire comedy that really adds nothing new to the game and is mediocrely filmed, but has decent enough acting and writing to stay funny. Certainly not for everyone, though. 5/10.
