As with most King movies they aren't going to be as good as the book. Ever. The book has so much depth but the movie is lacking. Why couldn't this be a mini series, where King's brilliance, complexity and depth reasonably translate well on screen?

So cheesy and unrealistic, even for an action movie. Like a bad video game adaptation. I actually really like Sam Heughan, but feel like this was a movie solely to try to get him beyond Outlander. Sorry Sam, this wasn't it. You all could do better. **Spoiler alert** having him "cry" to prove he isn't a full psychopath was so weak. If I want to see him to cry I'll stick to Outlander.
