A page turner. Love him or hate him he is the Thomas Edison of our time. Incapable of any real friendships and ruthless in dealing with employees, but driven to fantastic and fantastical achievements that will shape our children’s futures. While Musk’s life is exhausting, the book itself is an easy read even if you are not a closet engineer. Divided into 5-6 page chapters that bounce from one endeavor to the next, in more or less chronological order, Musk’s six ventures are interspersed with difunctional marriages, a horrible relationship with his father and at least ten children spawned - I lost count - many of whom seem to be destined to be mini-Elons.
