Great cast, beautiful scenography, a sunny post-WWII vibe. Interesting camera work. Snappy one liners, weird plot twists, some horrific elements. Characters are a bit of a caricature but it works really well nonetheless. Looking forward to the next season!

The one star is for the effort of making a movie about an important and underrated historical figure and for mixing past with present by throwing in the gadgets that we have thanks to Tesla’s vision. Other than that, there was no real character development; part documentary, part slow-moving philosophical drama. I liked the premise of idealistic inventor vs the greedy capitalists but it was a hard slog getting through to the end.
