When you get to know Mr. SLB is coming up with a movie/now a show , you eagerly wait for it anticipating nothing short of a specular storyline ,caste , sets , MUSIC, the other sets (seen on the necks and ears) and so forth. Well , the man doesn’t disappoint ever I’d say. Heavy sets , heavy ornaments , heavy dialogues but to beat this all , a very deep rooted and age old issue bought out to life(and reel) once again. Cruelty of the British Raj and towards the profession of the lead actresses is showcased just perfectly and true to itself , bor a single spare left towards language or looks.Even a tiny 5 min.appearance to Manisha Koirala, who leads the show like a queen , each and every actor /actress has acted immaculately, fitting just right and seamlessly in the role. The music , as expected, catches your attention and leads you to Shazam it (or lead me atleast) . Aditi Rao proves her versatility as an actress , looking breathtaking. Overall , bow down to you Mr.Bhansali. A must must watch!
