I have never cried in a DC movie, and I had tears running down my face in this one. I blocked all the bad negative critiques and uproar from a certain group of individuals and found the courage to get passed the fact that Henry Cavill was dropped. This was the first time in 3 years I bought movie tickets and it was the best money spent. I can now understand why the certain group of people is making so much noise. Shame they forgot or cannot comprehend Superman’s real essence. A savour of humans, a hero for the oppressed and under represented, a defender of the innocent and that is exactly what this movie was about irrespective of political ideology, religion or race. It’s not about who created superman, it’s about why he was created and what he is about and this movie portrayed that exactly.
