I as a 10 year old believe that "The Witches" by Roald Dahl is a pretty decent book overall. This book is very creative and descriptive. It is very engaging as Roald Dahl tends to leave a a hook at the end of some chapters to make the reader more interested to know what happens next. "The Witches" is a fun and entertaining story. The part I personally didn't like was how he made the chapters kind of confusing. If you don't like cliff hangers, you might not like this book. In conclusion, thinking about all the pros and cons this book would be a 3 out of 5 and I would recommend this book to other readers who are 9 to 16 years old.
