I thought this movie was extremely well done. The long awaited movie since the first Nintendo Direct was worth the movie ticket. The origin story of the Mascot of Video Games himself, Mario’s journey and character arch was well written. I also thought Peach’s character was well written and went against all the original cliches as the damsel in distress. The voice acting for each character made sense but my favourite had to be Bowser’s voice. All the references and musical numbers were recognizable to a Super Mario fan like me. I recommend this film to all Mario gamers and to people who want to get into the Nintendo games centred around the worldwide video game phenomenon in this action packed story of the Mario Brothers!
