Carpe Diem

Could have been better than the first one. But I enjoyed the storyline. We cannot get enough of Italy lately! First the Equalizer franchise ends in Italy, and now this? ;)

I cannot wait for the next season. I have already watched the whole show twice. That is enough to let you know how addictive it is. As for the critics, the jackal is faithful to story line of the original script with a bit of modernity. I suspect that this one combines the first two (1971 & 1997) to offer the spectator with a colder ultra-capitalistic version of the Jackal. The twist for me is: a sociopathic homicidal maniac that fancies the idea of being a family man and living happily ever after.
