Adaptations are just another way to tell a story. However, this should never have happened with "The Wheel of Time". Too much alteration to appease modern sensibilities was injected that killed character development and story arcs. The acting is dry and lifeless. Anyone who has read the books, don't waste your time. Even with an open mind, only disappointment awaits.
