Lynda Andrews

I am a huge King fan and have read as close to everything he has written as I can get my hands on. This mini-series is one of the best adaptations of a book of his I have seen. Although it is a little slow-going at first, I gradually began to realize that what was coming across from the screen was almost exactly what I felt as I read the book and that is what turned the tide for me. The story line does differ a bit but as the author himself wrote it, it works. The ensemble cast is phenomenal! I would have liked to have seen more of what Lisey saw in Scott to begin with, because most of what we do see is not a person that most would fall in love with. There are some scenes that are very hard to watch midway. The villain is terrifying! I ended up bingeing through episode 6 but could not stay up to finish, which I will do asap.
