I really do love the show. I've watched it like 3 times now. My only complaint, is it's became ENGULFED with the political fire. (Spoilers ahead) Seriously. It's wild. The beginning of the show had nothing to do with racism and whatnot. Until around 2018. And then it's ALL about the "typical leftist agenda" I didn't believe that stuff was real but now I am definitely seeing it. Why they had to turn SO political is beyond me but it really ruins the authenticity of the show. Yes racism is real. Yes gay people are allowed to be gay. Trans people exist. None of that is a problem, but if that's all the shows going to be about, you're just lazy. Ran out of interesting ideas? Just run to politics. Why the f is that all the show is now about? They swapped writers and it was such a mistake. Tanked the show for sure. They made Amelia of ALL PEOPLE be "racist"? Karev while wearing a camo scrub cap is against guns? The white doctor on Miranda Baileys heart attack case is trash but everyone who's black is good? Transgender this transgender that? Gay couples EVERYWHERE? Paul sadlers fiance is a feminist but didn't believe jo? The one person who believes in God keeps questioning her faith? They butchered the show for sure.
