I finally had a chance to see this show. The draw was, of course, Jason Momoa. While slow and plodding, it could have been a good show if it didn’t take itself so seriously. Several of the actors are excellent, others are overwrought and unconvincing in their roles. If there is any humor in the plot, it is entirely unintentional. The show would benefit by instilling a bit of joy and humor in the second season and not try so hard to be dark and serious.
