I had some trepidation seeing this. JW2 was a definite step down and we know how these things go but John Wick 3 delivers the most sensation real life ultra violent cartoon going. The film literally begins at the end of JW2 and then like a plague mutating Wick just kills anything he meets. The best scenes involve the mythology of the world and this again is the case here especially the scenes involving Anjelica Huston. One of the problems is the fight scenes should get progressively crazier but the first one in a knife museum!!! (Yes, not a typo) was so delightful that the more standard fare didn't zing as much One weird theme they introduce to muted affect is that other assassins are sometimes fan boyish towards the legendary Wick and that seemed out of tone with that universe. Very easy recommendation rubric: if you liked JW, you will enjoy JW3
