Utterly Contented. Plot is about a salesman who discovers that he's been turned into a cockroach with hideous anatomy one can imagine and closets in his room. I don't know how the author has thought of such thing the articulation is apex. Story is quite short but the depiction of the characters is intriguing. Picturing it leaves you tingling. It renders the relationship of family members and how one react if one was beleaguered and can be abandoned by a family who has been bred by them for years. It shows how swiftly people change their colours if someone if found looming as burden. Most of the paragraphs present in the novel are quite large and seems to carry a promising notion with the plot. I reckon Kafka has truly made a new genre of writing and will certainly influence if one want to venture into it.

Looking at positive side we can say that it is a compelling thriller , spellbound twists and fancy narration. pace is too slow and nearly one quarter is frittered with the protagonist routine and obsession with films and alcohol. There are hell of reference of films in the novel , which are from more than half-century ago. It seems quite annoying when something related to it is referred. I reckon more than one-third of the book there is no progress and even after that there's a juncture why did i pick this one. If we consider book as three parts, third part will be only can be considered captivating. First part and second parts seem futile. At the end we can agree that first part has some role on the turn of events, and if someone wants to read this book I suggest to read with patience and don't chuck it after reading half of the book ( which many readers have thought ) .

Absolutely Brilliant. I'm not a frequent reader and I have completely enjoyed it. The articulation and agog is quite the same from beginning to the end. One can pick it and can finish it no more than 4 days ( Maximum Duration) if you are a bookworm might finish on the same day. The plot is riveting and twists are astounding. At a juncture the plot seems revealing , in hindsight we learn it's back to square one. It renders how one's life is introjected by the past and how it spurs one in vital time. Plot keeps us guessing to the last and it also depicts the relationship between a shrink and patient. At last what caused the patient to commit the crime is revealed and you will be bonkers by that !!
