Never Have I Ever represents all the ups and downs of a high school teen more accurately than any other I have watched. While the show touches on the premise of teen sexuality, (in a comedic, accurate way, mind you), the show not rely on it in every episode, nor does it use it as a questionable crutch for viewership like Euphoria. Instead, NHIA keeps audiences engaged with emotional, and meaningful plots with characters that face REAL problems that the current teen generation faces, like friendships, handling school stress, and finding a sense of self and purpose.
