I was always a big fan of MP; I had planned on reading his memoir but unfortunately only got a hold of it after he passed :( This book was so personal, and really helped me understand addiction...I never disliked or hated addicts but I really got to see how tortured they could be. Could have the whole world but nothing at the same time. It shocked me at first how little the Friends cast were involved in his issues , but it makes sense in the end as he was a silent sufferer who hurt himself and consequently others. Really goes to show you how a sensitive soul can be affected by childhood trauma. RIP MP/ my favv Chandler :( Chandler lived the live Matthew wanted ; and Matthew lived the life Chandler feared.
