This show is so wretchedly cringe it's barely worth talking about.
Trite overused stereotypes pass as characters and the plot is a variation of hundreds of Hallmark movies or simplistic Hollywood romcoms etc where the woman that left her little town life to become a supposed "big deal" comes back home for a series of montages about becoming better despite being shallow and unlikeable.
Celeste must have put out a post to her simple minded followers to post as many positive reviews to boost the rating.
The show seems predicated on the idea that Celeste Barber is naturally funny as she fumbles around barely acting at a community theatre level and giving minimal effort to copy worn out slapstick routines from the I Love Lucy era.
If you're objective and don't find Barber funny you won't enjoy this. If you're already a fan of Celeste you won't even bother reading reviews.
