Why make a film about Liberia, West Africa without any real representation of Liberian actors?
The main character has a British English accent which does not go well as a Liberian.
Liberians speak American English and their local colloqual is not British but seasoned with a Southern US accent.
The country was founded by freed slaves from the US.
This movie would have been better telling a Sierra Leonian, Ghanaian or Nigerian story because of their British colonial history.
Anyway, I appreciate the work of Arts and efforts of the narrative.
