Ayushi Limbachiya

The film, Adipurush, has made a mockery of the purity of Ramayan. The intentional degradation of dialogues, characters and disrespectful and improper costumes have brought an epic to the ground. It is thoroughly under researched. The creative freedom taken has ruined the sentiments and devotion attached with Ramayan. Raavan is depicted as a monster and that has compromised on the nobility of this character. The VFX is humorous and doesn’t match the grandeur of Ramayan. Lord Hanuman, an epitome of devotion and treated with respect in India, is shown like an ill-treated and powerless character. I throughly condemn the film, the writer and the makers of the film. It has hurt my devotion towards Lord Ram, Goddess Sita and the epic, Ramayan. This film should not be allowed to be shown in the cinemas or anywhere for that matter. The one star I have given is for the music and the title song with which the movie opens.
