Yarros creates captivating and likable characters (even the villains!) with whom anyone with a soul can empathize. The plot is engaging, thrilling, revitalizing— a smart fantasy that challenges the mind and fuels the spirit. I am so glad I read this novel and cannot wait to read the rest in the series!
