I feel like alot of emotional and favorite parts were removed and replaced with raunchiness, and comedy. Good laughs are fine but this movie in its original form just made u feel all kinds of emotions. I wouldn't have taken my 11yr old daughter based off the Shug Avery scene singing at that juke joint alone about pushing buttons. I couldn't sit through it again to be honest. The sister hand song and hand gesture in the beginning was removed... OPRAH SUCKS FOR THIS ONE! AND SHE WAS IN THE ORIGINAL MOVIE. This should've been on TV FREE. I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS MUSICAL WAS AN ADAPTATION OF SOMETHING THAT WASNT ANY WAY A MUSICAL. 😳 HATED IT SO MUCH. ACTING WAS VERY VERY MEDIOCRE. SMH. AVOID UNTIL IT'S FREE PLEASE
