We booked a family holiday to Icmeler/Marmaris.
1. I was told hand luggage was included.
2. Hand luggage was NOT included and When I got to the airport I had to either pay £48 per bag (one way) or not get on the plane. We had 3 bags.!! Luckily one bag fit into another so only had to pay for 2. I paid to upgrade on the way back a further £39.
3. I emailed at the airport to complain about this. I was IGNORED..!!
4. We made a complaint to the hotel desk as Music was being played past 2am when it supposed to be turned off at 12 midnight. We were met with a rude and hostile hotel owner telling us to have respect for his business and his night club (he had 1 guest drinking in the hotel disco) while several of us were complaining.???
Stupid.!!
He then finished off by telling us if we did not like it we could find another hotel but he would be keeping our money for the accommodation.
5. The contact number Holiday Buzz provided did not work from abroad??
And so I emailed again. This time about the hotel owner and what he has said to us and how we were being treated and verbally threatened.
6. No email back… the hotel owner moved our room to another further from the bar.
Except this apartment had a broken shower and NO BED for my 16yr old son.
Despite my asking for a bed to be made for him it was not and at the end of the night I put 2 arm chairs together for him to lay across.
7. I am now no longer complaining with the hotel due to the hostility received by them and the fact that I do not feel safe talking to them. So I emailed Holiday Buzz again.
8. I emailed Holiday Buzz because although we were on a self catering holiday in a self catering apartment we were looked with complete disgust when we brought food back to our room. And we were not welcome to use the pool or sun loungers unless buying from the bar.!
9. It would take Holiday Buzz 4 days to email me back and when they did…. They just batted emails off between the hotel owner and myself. I have had to read about the hotel owner making outrageous lies about myself and my family.
10. It would be aprox 30 hours before we were due to check out before I received the email I wanted from Holiday Buzz stating they were looking into possible alternative accommodation for us…. We had been there 9 days by this point and were only staying 10 nights.
11. I am still waiting to hear from Holiday Buzz as to why they left us in a hotel where we felt unsafe and were being treated very poorly and with hostility.
But they are still batting emails between myself and hotel owner.
I have even presented Holiday Buzz with other recent reviews where other holiday makers have received the same hostility and rudeness.
