Paul’s book is clearly a labor of love and passion in service to people who suffer from thyroid disease. I think his work is extremely important for the medicinal community AND patients for more in-depth education. He’s done what most patients can’t even dream of- to feel healthy and whole again. And he lays it out step by step with tons of evidence and research taking safety as the number one priority. It is clear to me from reading his work there is no agenda that is one sided. He explains MANY scenarios and replacement options and is neutral in his stance and only uses the evidence he has acquired to explain what a patient might encounter. While he does have a book that’s called Recovering with T3, and that might insinuate that is his agenda, I don’t find that to be true. That was his personal experience, but he speaks to the many patients who still use T4 successfully. Moreover, I find his work to actually help people use T4 successfully before or while using T3. He doesn’t stop at just hormone replacement, there is nutrition and supplement information with the explanation necessary to understand the physiology.
His work is not lacking in depth of knowledge or experience.
