The film had a strong start in its first half, but as it progressed, it began to feel overly reminiscent of a typical "Disney" movie with a predictable happy ending. The plot's development lacked logical consistency, and many conflicts were resolved too conveniently. The characters, unfortunately, lacked depth and complexity. The dynamic between Maurice and the mother and daughter felt rather awkward and unclear, leaving me uncertain about his true intentions toward them. Additionally, it seemed that all the character motivations were assigned reluctantly.
