I thought it was a very good, moving movie. It was textured and did not hurry along for a reason - to tell a good story. It had fine acting & was beautifully filmed. And it told an emotional story. I find all the nay sayers, such as the writer of the official review at the Roger & Ebert web sight, to have really missed the mark. Were they even watching the movie? Then they give Shazam & almost every animation movie more stars than The Bookshop. Get real. Do your job. I realized I can't trust so-called professional movie reviewers, they often don't know what they're talking about. I feel they do a disservice to good movies. And discourage viewers from seeing movies which they should see. Thanks for reading this.
