The rawness that Bo exemplified while connecting with an audience that wasn't there left me breathless. His jokes made me smile, his moments made me cry, seeing a comedian I've admired throughout a tough spot in everyone's life was truly a force to reckon with. Burnham gives us a look into the deepness of the performing arts, the disconnection we all felt in the pandemic, while making you smile at his offhanded humor. There were moments when nothing needed to be said, where Bo himself and the music he performs is enough to tell what not a billion words could've. Thank you, Bo.

This movie left me speechless. I was convinced that I had been teleported to the world of the Velocipastor for the entire 70 minutes of run time. The effects were impeccable, the most realistic, and it took research for me to discover it was fake. The writing made me cry, incredible acting woven in to the perfect story of the Velocipastor. Me and my friends proceeded to cry, scream, laugh, and feel emotions we had no access to before. Forget your favorite actors, the acting in Velocipastor will easily overpower it. For the majority of the movie I was convinced that I was not just watching a movie, but a documentary. I now have posters hung around my room, Velocipastor bedsheets, and proceed to watch this movie at least 3 times a day. This isn’t a movie. It’s a lifestyle. When I clicked on this movie, I had no idea of what I would experience, the enlightenment that would be bestowed upon me, but now I see. I see that I am unworthy of the masterpiece that is Velocipastor. But now, I believe that the only way is through the Velocipastor, and make up for my years of ignorance, never watching this movie, to make up for it by watching Velocipastor. I have long since dropped out of school to stay in my room and watch Velocipastor with a box of tissues all day. I made the best decision of my life, and now you will too.
