I remember watching this movie when I was younger. Watching it now at 25 and understanding it, it made me so emotional. Like I cried a few times, some scenes were hard to watch. But this movie is a masterpiece because it teaches kindness and friendship in hard life situations, it's one of the deepest kids movies and it has a beautiful ending. I recommend this movie.

I've watched this movie when I was a kid and never actually realized how mature it was until I recently watched it as an adult. It has a very strong message behind it, the dialogue is amazing, yeah the animation and CGI is iffy but what do you expect it was made in 1998. Watching this movie now as an adult is much more heartfelt and understanding, there's a lot of excitement and yes there is violence. I honestly don't think it should be meant for kids because there is some swearing and some adult content.
